Urethral stent placement can be performed under cystoscopy, X-ray, or B-ultrasound, using different stent implanters (as shown in Figure 4A). A variety of inserter specifications, choose according to your needs.

(1) Operation under cystoscope: routinely disinfect 0-degree cystoscope and optical fiber. Local or epidural anesthesia is administered to the patient, the stenosis is checked by cystoscopy, and the appropriate stent is selected according to the measured length of the urethral stricture. Withdraw the cystoscope and insert the cystoscope into the stented implanter bore. The stented implanter, together with the cystoscope, is then inserted into the urethra beyond the stricture. Place the stent under direct vision. After placement, observe whether the stent position is correct. If the stent position is uncomfortable, adjust it with biopsy forceps.

(2) Operation under X-ray or B-ultrasound: insert the implanter (as shown in Figure 4B) along the guide wire into the human urethra. When the implanter passes through the stenosis and the proximal position is 10 mm higher than the predetermined position, When the distal position exceeds the distal end of the stenosis, open the safety lock, hold the rear handle and keep it still. Under the monitoring of X-ray or B-ultrasound, withdraw the front handle to release the stent, and confirm that the withdrawal of the implanter will not cause the stent to shift. Exit the inserter.

(3) Mixed method: If the above methods can be combined and cooperated with each other, better results can be achieved than single implantation method, and the success rate of surgery can be improved.
