How the Biopsy Valve Works

The endoscopic biopsy valves are used to cover the opening to the biopsy/suction channel inlet of a gastrointestinal (GI) endoscope. These GI biopsy valves provide access for endoscopic device passage and exchange and help maintain insufflation and minimize leakage of biomaterial from the biopsy port throughout the gastrointestinal endoscopic procedure.

However, all disinfection solutions and sterilization methods must be validated by the end user for safety and effectiveness.
