MedNova Presents At The 26th Digestive Endoscopy Conference Of Sichuan Medical Association

 It is honor for us to say that MedNova was invited to the 26th Digestive Endoscopy Conference of Sichuan Medical Association.  

    This conference was held by Sichuan Medcal Association(SMA) and co-organized by digestive endoscopy eommittee of the SMA;  the Centra Hospital of Suining; the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of UESTC; the Sichuan Cancer Hospital. 

    The conference is innovated, closely following the international frontier, and providing an academic platform for everyone to learn and exchange with each other. The venue gathered masters and famous experts to conduct in-depth interpretations of hot spots, key points and difficulties in the field of digestive endoscopy. While listening to the cutting-edge voices, the participants broadened their academic horizons and improved their academic standards, truly realizing the transformation between theoretical achievements and clinical practice.

     Professor Hu Bing of West China Hospital of Sichuan University delivered a keynote speech entitled "Standardized Management of Cold Resection of Colorectal Polyps". In recent years, cold snare polypectomy (CSP) has been gradually applied to the treatment of colorectal polyps and has been recommended by the American and European Endoscopic Society for the removal of colorectal micropolyps. Cold snare polypectomy uses a snare device to directly mechanically cut the polyp to remove the polyp, which has a high lump removal rate and takes significantly less time to treat than hot snare polypectomy (HSP).

     The advantage of the cold snare independently developed by MedNova Medical is that it can prevent damage to the submucosal vascular tissue caused by electrocautery, the cold coil wire is woven by nitinol alloy wire, which can be repeatedly opened and closed without deformation, the hardness of the coil wire is hard, and the pressing support ability is strong. Make the cold ring cut sharper and not tear, let the polyp cut complete during the operation and greatly reduce the risk of bleeding, and the design of the hard outer sheath can make the snare wire more likely to reach the root of the polyp, and the coil wire fits well and is not easy to slip.
